There are
many variations of qualifying requirements, and our agents are
knowledgeable in this area. Some apartment communities are more
strict than others.
The 4 major
issues the Apartments want for Qualifying are:
1) The
majority of properties will want your gross monthly income to
be at least three times the rent to qualify.
2) Good
credit is a plus, but not a requirement.
3) Properties
like to see that you have been with your current employer for
at least 6 months.
4) Last
but not least, properties like to see that you have either rented
in the past or have owned a home.
All of
the above are not entirely necessary, however it makes qualifying
easier.
If any
of the above are negative, then simply explain the situation to
one of leasing agents.
